GOOD: NIKITA
An old French flick about a woman named, Nikita. Her name speaks all. A Luc Besson film.


OKAY / SO-SO LAA ~~: 14 BLADES
A Mandarin film about the emperor's special soldier unit in Myung Dynasty. Starts off engaging but ends bitter in disappointment. Lots of fantasy and an ugly heroine. The lead guy, Donnie Yen, is hot though. Mmm, a plus a plus !


AWFUL: LEAP YEAR
I really don't like Amy Adams (her voice is overly annoying), so I knew I won't be liking this film. My mother's a sucker for any sort of rom-com movies, so I had to watch this with her. The only cute part in this movie is when they call her LV suitcase Louis, and continue personifying him. It's cute. I like LV suitcases.


BLOCKBUSTER: IRON MAN 2
Found the first one ..SO AWFUL. HORRIBLE. BORING. FAIL FROM HOLLYWOOD IN EVERY SINGLE ASPECT. Gwyneth Paltrow was godly. Therefore, I wasn't expecting anything from its sequel, but this sequel DELIVERED. WOW ! What a thrill and a ride it was from the beginning !! LOVED DOWNEY JR. + PALTROW (YAY FOR SUCH A SWEET CHEMISTRY !!) and Scar Jo was too hot for the big screen. LALGAHDMFAGH. I really enjoyed her awkward poses whilst beating up beefy men in tight hallways.

Watched yesterday, Whip It. Starring the almighty Ellen Page and Drew Barrymore. Even Jimmy Fallon and one of the burglars from HOME ALONE !!!!!!!!!!!! Teehee. Directed and co-produced by Drew Barrymore !! It's like.. HER FILM !! OMFG.
Anyhow, it was thoroughly enjoyable and laugh-out-loud entertaining. I guess since I watched it with little expectations, I ended up enjoying it aroun d9898983848326497392557 times more !! What a ride that was !
Ellen Page plays a perfect adolescent 17-year-old girl, and it's quite mind blowing that she's nearing 30. The BIG thirty, ya know !!???! And what, she's playing a SEVENTEEN-year-old. Her lips move with such intellect and each of her movement is down to her role.
Now I want to get a pair of Barbie roller skates and go roller derby-ing. VANCOUVER TOTALLY NEEDS A ROLLER DERBY WAREHOUSE. LIKE NOW. And it should be used for little girls' birthday parties and stuff.. like how ice rinks are used !!

Moving on. I just spent some time on YouTube and guess what I found ?!!? MORE DAUL CLIPS. NEVER WATCHED BEFORE. One of them is heart-wrenching; it's about her infamous Paris apartment. The apartment. It smells so lively and it has a huge walk-in closet room and what not. Love you, Daul. RIP.

On the other hand, these ones are funny. She loves yoga !! I THINK I'LL START DOING YOGA NOW. NO KIDDINGS.


Here, she talks about her guinea pigs, Jamong (grapefruit) and Tiger. She always loved them even though they mostly lived in Seoul at her parent's place. She talks about why she likes guinea pigs over dogs, hamsters, and other pet animals. She says that they don't want too much attention. Plus, she says that guinea pigs are shy and introverted creatures that takes time to become their friend. To become one, one must converse with it and not pet nor snuggle with them excessively. This talks a lot about Daul's personality also, in my opinion. Miss you, Daul. Really, truly rest in peace.

I spent around five hours today on iTunes burning five CDs for various friends and making a new and long playlist for myself. Also deleting unwanted music to make room for fashion images and manga, and trying to back movie files up on an external hard drive and failing. All in all, I didn't really do anything much productive (like sending out important and backlogged e-mails or calling my university for answers) other than cleaning out my music folder on iTunes. Hmm.

Watched this movie with my friend the other day. Basically the movie is SO HOT, SO SEXY, AND SO SAD. Plus, everyone smokes and has nicely coloured lips, so that was a bonus !! Anyhow, Colin Firth is incredible in it; he must've worked out loads for this role, too. Colin took the Best Actor award from Venice Film Fest. This is not anything you'd expect from him, but something you'd definitely expect from Tom Ford. Tom Ford works his magic and makes everyone impeccably hot and complex in mere hour and half. This was his directing debut and it was a hit !! This man is a bag full of talents that bursts to exceed everyone's expectations all the time. Can't wait what the future will bring from him...

casual procrastination

As finals approach, more and more time is devoted to the computer. As I woke up to a dreadful Saturday morning, I beelined it to my laptop. Teehee. I've got a stack of beautifully clean looking textbooks to my side, and some dirty blank CDs. My red moleskine is asking for some love and piles of cluttered junk is yelling for some organization. I successfully ignore their requests. Common sense is non-existent.
Just another day of casual procrastination.

There's this celebrity named HongChul No in Korea. Quite a star. Quite a character also. He is loud, somewhat obnoxious, cunning, funny, and FLASHY. When you think about him, you think FLASHY SHIT FLYING ALL AROUND HIM AND HIS BLEACHED BLONDE HAIR AND LEOPARD PRINT BACKGROUND AND CAPS LOCKED LETTERS AND BIG TEETH PLUS MOUTH. He definitely gives me the chills, guughgghg.. Those kind of chills. ahhahahahhaha.
Anyhow, found out that he has an online shop where he sells clothes and accesories and whatnot. Casual procrastination definitely called for browsing. I found several wants and this extremely cute boy model. He has lots of makeup on and he is more a girl than a boy. CAN'T BELIEVE HOW CUTE HE IS. I wish he comes in mini sizes so I can carry him around in my sweater pocket, creepy much ? Teeheeheee.
PS. I obviously have a HUGE thing for drop-crotch pants, I mean if you know me, those are the only ones I wear. +0+ !!
PPS. Isn't the oversize bag the shit !?!!?? I'd carry my whole life out of my shitty house and zoom off to Peru with that. Pack me an avocado sandwich, please.

If today is a day of casual procrastination, Thursday night was a night of extreme procrastination.
I went over to UBC to study with fellow Korean. They are nice kids these ones. I met them at the LIBRARY instead of going out and chugging bottles of alcohol down to my dying liver. We were solid. We did this and that. We got information up to our - maybe - growing brain. Then, we made a mistake of watching Across the Universe.. Hmm. The night went downhill from there.. get my gist ??
PS. Jim Sturgess is SUCH A HOTTIE, I now realize why there was such a hype when this movie came out. WOWZ. ZOMG.
